SDEO Inspection AT SES SAKAWRDAI

Date: 14/05/2026

In a significant step toward securing official government recognition, the Sub-Divisional Education Officer (SDEO) conducted a formal inspection of our school today. The day-long assessment focused on infrastructure, safety protocols, and inclusive facilities, marking a crucial milestone in the institution’s growth.

Inspection Highlights

The SDEO, along with the accompanying team, carried out a thorough evaluation of the school’s operations. The inspection was largely successful, with most administrative and academic areas found to be fully aligned with departmental standards. In preparation for the visit, the school demonstrated operational readiness—additional almirahs were utilized for systematic record organization, and fire extinguishers were visibly positioned to showcase safety compliance.

Key Recommendations for Improvement

While the overall assessment was favourable, the SDEO offered constructive guidance to further align the school with accessibility and safety regulations:

  • Inclusion & Accessibility: The inspecting officer advised that the existing ramp for students with special needs be modified to achieve a smoother slope for easier navigation. Furthermore, the installation of sturdy railings on both sides of the ramp was highlighted as a mandatory requirement to ensure student safety and support.
  • Safety Accessibility: It was recommended that fire extinguishers be permanently mounted in highly accessible locations at an appropriate height, ensuring they can be reached easily by staff during an emergency.

Positive Conclusion

Following the inspection and a detailed briefing on the necessary upgrades, a short refreshment was held for the SDEO and the team. The atmosphere remained constructive throughout. The inspecting officials expressed their support for granting recognition once these minor adjustments are implemented.

The school administration thanks the SDEO for their guidance and reaffirms its commitment to completing the recommended upgrades promptly.
