Standard English School (SES), Saipung, observed Cleanliness Day today, combining the declaration of the Second Internal Assessment results with a campus-and-community sanitation drive. The initiative brought together students, teachers, and local residents in a shared effort to promote hygiene, discipline, and environmental responsibility.
Following the formal announcement of the Second Internal Assessment results, students from Classes IV to VII, along with school faculty and staff, dedicated their afternoon to a thorough cleanup of the school campus, playground, and surrounding school grounds.
Extending their efforts beyond the school gates, the students and teachers subsequently joined hands with community members to assist in cleaning public areas across Saipung village.
The event emphasized the institution’s focus on holistic education—teaching students that academic progress goes hand-in-hand with civic duty and community welfare. School authorities expressed their gratitude to the faculty and young participants for their enthusiastic involvement in making the cleanliness drive a success.
